If you already own the full report for a letter and want the packet too, the upgrade price credits what you already paid. You are never charged twice for the same report.

A paid report explains what your letter says. It is not legal advice, and it does not file, appeal, or represent you. For that, use a VA-accredited representative.

Is this a subscription?
No. Every paid product on UnderstandMyRating is a one-time purchase, priced per letter. There is no recurring charge and nothing auto-renews.
Do I need to pay to start?
No. The basic decode is free and does not require an account. You only pay if you want the full annotated report or the report, math, and packet bundle.
Do I need an account to buy a report?
Yes. A purchase is tied to your account, and signing back in is how you retrieve what you paid for, at any time, with no separate link to keep track of.
What if the report does not generate after I pay?
We will not charge you, or we will refund the charge. See our terms for the full refund policy.
I already bought the full report. Can I add the packet later?
Yes. If you already own the full report for a letter, the packet is offered as an upgrade with the report price credited, never as a second full-price purchase on top of what you already paid.
