What “combined evaluation” means on a VA rating decision
Your combined evaluation is the single overall percentage VA assigns after combining your individual condition ratings. They are combined by efficiency, not simply added, which is why 60 plus 40 plus 20 comes to 80 percent and not 120. The result is rounded to the nearest 10 at the very end.
In plain terms
Your total rating after individual ratings are combined by efficiency, not added.
